I just had it yesterday. I am so swollen and multicolored it is ridiculous! Has anybody had experience with this kind of surgery?
I finally have a date to go back to work: next Wednesday. All in all it will have been three weeks. At least the weather has been awesome everyday, even though I've only been able to sit outside and read.
Hello, I just had one last month, that was the second I had, this one to repair the one that broke, just take it easy, no lifting, if your doctor didnt give you a elastic binder for you stomach, get one, wear it for the next couple of weeks, and believe me, it wont be long before your up and about, also, use a healing cream on the wound, it will keep the itch down when healing, good luck and remember, this to will pass away, our friend BOB
ReplyDeleteOrchiectomy - looked like a buss hit me in the crotch - bruised from front to back and down to my knee! Close as I've come to your experience.
ReplyDeletestay relaxed, lots of ice or frozen pea bags for a couple of days, and take the pain pills
ReplyDeletePoor you! It must be quite painful but the worst is over now and you will soon feel much better than you did before the operation.
ReplyDeleteImagine what people had to endure before surgery - uncomfortable metal trusses worn to try and keep everything together.
Hugs,
Hermione
